To make full use of NetBet products, you may be asked to provide us with your proof of identity and address to verify your account from time to time. The verification of our players is a mandatory requirement of our licensing conditions under the UK Gambling Commission that enables us to prevent underage gambling, protect vulnerable customers and keep gambling crime free.
We take pride in making our Know Your Customer (KYC) process as smooth as possible for all our users. In most cases at registration we run an automatic check to verify your date of birth and address. If this check passes, you will not be required to submit documents. On occasions, this check may fail or return no results, for example:
- You may have registered your NetBet account to your new home address but your debit card is still registered to your previous address
- You may not be registered on the electoral roll
- You may not have any credit files
- At this point, we will ask you to provide documents to verify your account
To make this a quick and easy process, we have enabled a document uploader in your My Account section that can be found in the upper right corner of the homepage.
You will receive an email or message in your NetBet Inbox when these documents are needed. To make sure you do not miss those emails, do not forget to add our email address (uk-support@netbet.co.uk) to your safe list or permitted sender list on your email service provider or anti-spam software.

Accepted Proof Of Identity:
Requirements: front and back copies/photo of the document (where applicable), under your name, not expired, all relevant information visible.
- Identity card
- Residence Permit issued by home office
- Driving Licence
- Passport (copy/photo of the page which shows the picture and relevant information)
- Birth Certificate ( provided along with: Local authority council tax bill for the current council tax year or HMRC tax statement (within the last six months).
Accepted Proof Of Address:
Requirements: PDF/Photo of the document showing full name, address, issuing date, company logo. Dated within the last 3 months (Unless stated otherwise), all relevant information visible.
- Utility Bill (Water, Gas or Electric)
- Mortgage statement from a recognised lender issued for the last full year
- HMRC self-assessment letters or tax demand dated within the current financial year (within the last six months)
- Electoral Register entry
- Bank statement
- Solicitors letter confirming recent house purchase or land registry confirmation of address
- NHS Medical card or letter of confirmation from GP’s practice of registration with the surgery

To send us your documents from your My Account section, please follow these steps:
- Log in to NetBet
- Click on the My Account tab, at the top right side of the homepage
- Click on Upload documents (4th option of the menu)
- Click on Choose File and select the local file you want to upload
- Then click Send
If you have any problems uploading your documents, you can email them to our Customer Support team at uk-support@netbet.co.uk and they will verify them. Please bear in mind your email can only be 25MB or smaller.
In most cases, uploading your documents or sending via email for verification will be enough, but please note that if for any reason we are not able to verify your identity or age, we might ask you to provide further documentation.
